You and Peter have all it takes to "weather" this, and anything else that challenges you. That I know to be true (you got that from your mom). I hope the bumps in the road dissipate, and all of the mishaps become nothing but a distant memory.
Just want to reiterate, Lauren, that you are such a thoughtful, introspective, funny writer! I find myself excited every time I see Cupalo in my inbox. And I equally love your podcasts!
Freda! I needed this message more than you know. Not only the words of encouragement to weather (love the pun!) this literal and emotional storm. But also you words of encouragement to keep writing. Sometimes I wonder if this makes any bit of difference for any one else. I love to write but I never know how it is received. And the fact that you enjoy these means the world. Truly. You stay awesome and you stay safe too my friend. XOXO
Ryan, I cannot even imagine doing this globally! We've had a hard enough time with all the different situations we've walked into from place to place, town to town, state to state. We have decided to keep forging ahead. There's still so much to learn about ourselves out here. I don't want to miss it. But it ain't easy! Let's catch up soon. I would love to hear more about your experience and also catch up on what you've been building since we last chatted!
Wishing you guys the best - nomads in the S during hurricane season! You are building lots of character;) Keep looking in the present moment for the happiness that's bound to be there:)
Jared, YOU are the best! We are doing everything we can to stay safe AND stay present, focusing on all the good that we no doubt have raining (pun intended) down on us. Thanks for being such an awesome friend.
I’m scared to death for you both, but I know what you’re made of.. you and Peter will carry on, continue learning about yourselves and each other, and what a book this will be at the end!
Mom, thanks for being such an incredible stronghold and cheerleader through this. I am so grateful that after all these years you still continue to tell me everything will be okay, even when I know you're scared too.
Sending a huge virtual hug....

I feel ya. We had grand plans when we sold all of our stuff and got a 1-way ticket to Europe.
We didn't even last to the end of the vacation visa that we were worried about bumping up against.
Moving from rental to rental was exhausting! And more went wrong than we anticipated.
It doesn't make your original decision-making wrong though.
